If you’re suffering with general aches and pains which are not severe or long-standing we’d recommend that you book an initial appointment with one of our massage therapists.
All our massage therapists are either graduate sports therapists with further massage-specific training and experience or Level 5 massage therapists. You may find that a short course of massage treatments is all you need to relieve your aches and pains. Alternatively, if your therapist identifies more underlying or complex issues they may consult with other members of our team or recommend that you be seen by our physiotherapist, osteopath or a chiropractor.
If there’s a stress and tension related aspect to your aches you might benefit from booking an initial session with our reiki master, Joli, who also offers meridian massage therapy. If you have a particularly stressful period in your life you may also consider seeing our counsellor Helen.
Sometimes generalised aches and pains can be associated to an underlying health condition or even to nutritional issues like Vitamin D deficiency or hormone imbalances. Our GP Dr Jeff Foster and our nutritionist Karen Ward can offer advice and blood testing to help identify or eliminate any potential underlying causes of your symptoms.
