Back pain is very common, and about two-thirds of people experience lower back pain at some point in their lives. It doesn’t help that adults are commonly going between sitting at a desk all day, then slouching on the sofa all evening. And while it is important to stay active, unfortunately, going to the gym just a few times a week won’t always be enough to compensate for that.
Dr Stefaan Vossen, a chiropractor and Clinical Director at Core Clinics shared his top tips with MSN for preventing back pain.
“Try to change the position or activity you are doing often, and when you are having to sit still for a long time, relieve the tension with some neck and shoulder stretches.”
